The Swamp Eggs By Jo Windsor

This week we have read The Swamp Eggs as our big book.  We really enjoyed the story and have been painting pukekos and writing about the story.

Here is Neesha's writing.

Gwen had six warm eggs underneath her tummy.  
One day a hawk came by "Screech! Screech! Yum!" said the hawk.  "Eggs for me". 
 The next day a snake came by "ssssss-ssss, Yum" said the snake.  "Eggs for me!".
The next day a cat came by "meow-meow, yum" said the cat, "eggs for me". 
 At last the six eggs began to hatch.  "Quick" said Gwen.  "Let's get away from those bad pests".
