Underarm Throw with Mrs Tapine

Mrs Tapine from Sports Hawkes Bay has been coming to teach us how to do an underarm throw.  She will be teaching us lots of other skills too.  We have learnt lots of different games like Battleships and Bombers, Underarm Golf, and Paper Scissors Rock.



Here are some stories we wrote:

Mrs Tapine taught Room 1 underarm throw.  She taught us how to do Battleships and Bombers.
How we play Battleships and Bombers:
2 people -  One person lies down and one person stands up.
The person who is up holds a soft ball and throws the ball at the person who is lying down on the ground to try to hit them. - Ben

Mrs Tapine taught us how to play paper, scissors , rock. - Anas

Mrs Tapine is teaching us to play paper, scissors rock.  We have to skip around the pole
We had to throw the bean bag into the hoop. - Nirvana

Mrs Tapine is teaching us how to play paper, scissors, rock and underarm throw.  We have to put the bean bag on top of our hand and point our feet to our partner, and then throw. - Jessica

Mrs Tapine is helping us to do underarm throw.  She is helping us to play Battleships and Bombers .
Battleships and Bombers is a game and it is fun.  In the game you have to throw a sock ball at your partner. - Louisa
