A Visit from a World Champion!
Last week Alison Shanks , Individual Pursuit World Champion visited our school. She brought her gold medal and her flash bike to show us. Ali is off to the Olympic Games in London where she will compete in the Team Pursuit. Ali is Mrs Potts' sister-in-law to be and Craig Palmer, her coach is Mrs Potts' brother.
We couldn't resist a chance to wear a gold medal. Ali told us all that we should always follow our dreams.
