This term we are learning about how things change when heated or cooled.  We are going to become very good at observing and doing experiments.  We will be able to share and say what we found out in our science experiments.  This week we have been talking about solids and liquids and about melting and freezing.  We made iceblocks! Eating them today was a great way to end our first week back at school.

Here are some of our instructions that we wrote so that you will know how to make our ice blocks!  We had to make sure we wrote the instructions in order and  we used lots of words like pour, mix and stir.

How to make Ice blocks

1                 Pour the juice powder in the jug.

2                 Pour a litre of water in the jug.

3                 Stir the juice with a long spoon until it is all gone.

4                 Pour the juice into the ice block containers.

5                 Put the ice block containers in the freezer.

6                 Eat them up.

1                 Pour the juice powder in the jug.

2                 Pour a litre of water in the jug.

3                 Stir the powder in the jug with a spoon.

4                 Pour the juice into the ice block containers.

5                 Put the ice block sticks in the ice block containers.

6                 Put them in the freezer.

7                 Eat them up.
